Adults from all over the USA and Canada will converge to attend Mosaic’s Jewish Outdoor Escape 2019 at Cedar Lake Camp in Milford, PA and the surrounding area to enjoy a spectacular weekend featuring activities that may include:

• Whitewater rafting along Class II – III rapids on the Delaware River
• Paddling and Tubing on Delaware River
• Scenic guided pontoon boat ride on Lake Wallenpaupack
• Three days of mountain biking along the McDade Recreational Trail and in the Port Jervis Watershed Park 
• Hikes of varying abilities across three states including:
  • Buttternut Falls in NJ
  • Along the fluviarchy (a network of waterfalls) of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, PA
  • Huckleberry Ridge State Forest, NY
• Treetop Adventure Course at Skytop Adventure Center
• Relive Woodstock at the museum at Bethel Woods
• Dorflinger Glass Museum 
• Grey Towers National Historic Site: The ancestral home of Gifford Pinchot, first director of the United States Forest Service and twice elected governor of Pennsylvania
• Swimming in camp’s private pool
• High Ropes in Camp
• Arts and Crafts
• Saturday Torah Study
• Friday and Saturday Shabbat Services
• Campfire Singing
• Dancing to the sounds of Big Wahu Caribbean Band on Saturday night.

What is Mosaic?

Mosaic Outdoor Clubs of America (MOCA) integrates Jewish values with an appreciation of the outdoors. It brings together members of the Jewish community to celebrate and explore the great outdoors in a social setting. This is achieved by: 1) Sponsoring activities on a national/international scale; and 2) Encouraging and facilitating the formation and continuation of local Mosaic clubs for the purpose of sponsoring local/regional activities.

Mosaic Outdoor Clubs of America is a volunteer-run organization that allows Jewish adults with a love of the outdoors to get “back to nature” and have some fun. With 12 clubs located throughout the United States, Canada and Israel, our international non-profit, volunteer-run organization promotes appreciation of the outdoors, nature, outdoor skills and conservation, while building Jewish community and continuity.
